Job Responsibilities
Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Accounting Oversight: Supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into financial performance and trends.
Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.
Skills + Experience
Proven Experience: Significant experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on financial control and management.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; a professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
